Annotation

In May, the exhibition Drawí kresliari will take place at Pistori Palace in Bratislava, presenting drawing as a dynamic and multi-layered medium of contemporary art. The project offers a wide spectrum of approaches to drawing – from ideation, sketching, and design, through drawing as an autonomous artwork, to illustration, design, intermedia, conceptual, and experimental positions.

The aim of the project is not only to present artistic work but also to create an open platform for discussion, sharing experiences, and intergenerational dialogue between established artists, students, and the public. The exhibition responds to the current situation in which the position of drawing in both art education and practice is weakening. We aim to emphasize its irreplaceable role as a fundamental and universal means of expression.

The Drawí kresliari project is conceived as an open laboratory – a space for experimentation, exchange of ideas, and the search for new perspectives. At the same time, it supports emerging artists and designers and strengthens dialogue within the artistic community.
