• During its course, the exhibition will be supplemented by the performance "Swimming" by Tomáš Prištiak, which will take place on April 19, 2024. We will inform about the performance in time.

About the Exhibition

The group exhibition PRETEKÁ will present a curated selection of student works created during the seventeen years of the Department of Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design Bratislava. At the exhibition, you will see the current students of the Department of Intermedia, as well as its graduates. The name of the exhibition refers to the aspect of fluidity, which is the leitmotif of the exhibition - flow, but also overflow at the level of materials, masses, concepts, identities, memory or physicality.

  • 1. Viktória Revická - Kvasný Pohyb (fermentation process)
    • The movement performance depicts the fermentation process.
    • Performers: Soňa Kúdeľová, Michal Zoller, Juraj Bilený, Júlia Pabst, Dominik Dolník
  • 2. Marina Abramovič po sebe neupratuje - The Dictator Decides
    • Slow-motion playback of the situation of a joint school or company photo shoot, referring to various microaggressions in everyday life.
• 20:00 - 21:30 DJ set Krishpin & seafur 
  • Krishpin and seafur have been musical soulmates ever since they discovered that their playlists were almost identical. Their selections are eclectic, playful, goofy, but always with a strong emphasis on vocals, percussion & booty-shaking sounds. Hyperpop and afrobeats, batida and r'n'b, merengue and footwork, salsa and amapiano. Harmonious yet chaotic blends of decades, genres and moods. To fill up, to juice up, to jump in the air, and to stick to the ground. Sped-up dance, high-pitched cringe.
