Annotation

The exhibition Artists from the Kysihýbel Arboretum presents the outcomes of the 4th edition of the VLNOOBJEKT workshop, which took place in the Kysihýbel Arboretum near Banská Štiavnica from June 16 – June 29, 2025. The exhibition includes works by six sculptors, three male painters, two female painters, and one multimedia artist, who created in the media of sculpture, object, painting, and intermedia overlaps during the two-week workshop.

The results of the two-week workshop are currently presented in a short exhibition at the Július Binder Gallery in the city center. Afterwards, the created sculptures and objects return permanently to their original natural environment, where they were created. There, they remain permanently installed, gaining new connotations and offering diverse interpretations for a wide audience.

In this way, since 2022, a collection of sculptures and objects in public space has been developing in the Arboretum, which will continue to expand and gain value in the coming years. The outdoor gallery has been expanded in 2025 to include a painting exhibition installed in the interior of the newly built Forestry Center Kysihýbel.
