AFAD:inside – Art course at AFAD for high school students
VŠVU:inside continues! This art course offers secondary school students a unique opportunity to create directly in AFAD’s studios under the guidance of artists and educators based at the Academy. Applications are open to young people aged 15–17.
12 sessions, every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

If you would like to explore the studios at AFAD, try out various art techniques and processes, and develop your own form of artistic expression, don’t hesitate to apply! AFAD:inside is intended for secondary school students interested in visual art and eager to broaden their horizons. Previous experience in visual arts is not required. In a friendly atmosphere and under expert guidance, you will discover different approaches to art and creative practice. The course supports the development of critical thinking and visual literacy.
How does it work?
During the course, we will visit several studios at different departments of AFAD. In each one, a workshop specially prepared for AFAD:inside awaits us and will span several sessions. The course therefore offers an opportunity to become better acquainted with individual fields of study as well as the Academy itself.
