Annotation

The International Artistic Jewellery Competition is the main event of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER 2026. The Art Gallery in Legnica has organised it continuously since 1979, making it one of the oldest European initiatives supporting contemporary artistic jewellery.

The competition creates space for creative and experimental approaches at the intersection of art, craft, and design, and is open to artists from around the world – jewellers, designers, and both professional and non-professional jewellery makers. As part of the festival, an exhibition of works selected for the 34th International Jewellery Competition EVERY BODY will take place.

This year’s edition received applications from 265 artists from 24 countries, with the international jury selecting 40 artists from 12 countries. The exhibition presents contemporary approaches to the relationship between jewellery and the body and is considered one of the most prestigious showcases of artistic jewellery in Europe. The official opening of the festival will take place on 8–9 May 2026.
