The second part of the series Utility graphics in Slovakia after 1918 Undressing deals with the penetration of modern typography and utility graphics into Slovakia. Modern, so-called intellectuals from the circle of the cultural-political monthly DAV began to spread the new typography in Slovakia. On the fates of the Davists, the author approaches the development of the avant-garde and finally the tragic fates of its Slovak and some Czech protagonists, not only in the field of applied graphics, but also in a wider cultural context. The teaching and development of typography in our country was significantly influenced by the School of Arts and Crafts in Bratislava, so the author represents not only the school, but also the circle of graphic artists who were directly related to this school. Mikuláš Galanda, Ľudovít Fulla, Zdenek Rossman, Josef Rybák and Karol Jaroň are brought closer in medallions that map their lifelong development in utilitarian graphic work. The publication is richly illustrated with hundreds of contemporary works, most of which have not yet been published in this scope and context.
