The Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Hviezdoslavovo nám. 18, 814 37 Bratislava, announces pursuant to the Principles of Selection Procedures for Filling Positions of University Teachers, Artistic and Research Staff, the Positions of Professors and Associate Professors, and the Positions of Senior Employees of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, a selection procedure for the position of: Head of the Department of Intermedia
*The position is combined with the position of a university teacher at the relevant department.
Application deadline: 11 June 2026
Expected start date: September 2026
Admission requirements:
- integrity,
- managerial and communication skills,
- defence of a written concept of the department’s activities and development.
Required documentation for the selection procedure:
- application for the selection procedure (must include personal data – name, surname, address, contact details – email, telephone number, and the exact title of the position in which the candidate is interested),
Application to AFAD selection procedure (SK) 042025RTF, 52 KB
- professional CV,
- written concept of the activities and development of the relevant department in both printed and electronic form (USB drive).
General admission requirements:
- fulfilment of the required admission conditions,
- complete submission of the required documentation for the selection procedure,
- personal participation in the selection procedure.
Selection procedure:
- presentation of the concept of the activities and development of the relevant department (approx. 20 minutes),
- discussion with the members of the committee and defence of the submitted concept of the activities and development of the relevant department.
