The exhibition of the works of Ladislav Čarný (born in Žilina in 1949) is similar in scope to his two previous ones in the Považskú Art Gallery, held in 1994 and 2010, but the current one entitled "I am honored to be a partner of the laws of nature" comes closest among them to the understanding of the exhibition as monographic title. The selected works refer to key areas of the author's work from the 1980s to the present. From the formal side, they are connected by an intermedial character: they are objects, installations, site-specific realizations, media works, processual and interactive works, that is, forms that were essential for the of art after 1989 in our environment. Several of them are a distinctive form of art of installation and object in the 90s and the following years - this is what the gallery continuously deals with as part of its research activities.

In addition to guided tours and educational activities, the programme accompanying the exhibition will also include the launch of the Ladislav Čarný monographic publication on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
The realisation of the exhibition was supported from public funds by the Slovak Art Council. The Slovak Art Council is the main partner of the project.
