The admission procedure is intended to assess the level of knowledge, talent, thinking, abilities, and skills of the applicant in relation to the specific requirements arising from the selected master’s study programme. The admission procedure is evaluated by an admission committee appointed by the AFAD rector separately for each study programme.

The committee assesses the applicant’s individual abilities and prerequisites for independently and creatively meeting the requirements of master’s studies at AFAD, their awareness of the issues and developments in the field, level of thinking, and knowledge of the history and theory of art.

The admission procedure consists of the following parts:

  • interview with the applicant

Each member of the admission committee scores the project, portfolio, motivation letter, and interview, on a scale from 0 to 5 points.
