This is a unique book in our context that reflects the development of graphic design, education and culture after the revolution from a sociological perspective (joint projects, generational views, shared values, etc.).

This theoretical publication captures the story of professional identity and the development of graphic design after 1989 in education and practice through the eyes of designers, graduates of the Visual Communication study at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. From the advent of capitalism and the wild era of computer graphics, the development of independent culture to the creation of their own design projects. It is dedicated to reflecting on common tendencies and names the specifics of graphic design within the Central European context.
