Your 2% can help develop young art and culture in Slovakia

You too can support activities and professional opportunities for our students! Donate 2 percent of your taxes, which will be used to create artworks, prepare exhibitions and publications, or participate in professional events.

The practical skills acquired during their studies by preparing projects and presenting at home and abroad will help them become active professionals in our cultural scene and in other professional fields in the future.

What we supported with the funds we received in 2025:

  • Participation of a photography student in the collective exhibition "In the space between words" at the Copeland Gallery in London from March 12 to March 16, 2025, organized by the international platform Rethinking Eastern Europe, consisting of visual artists from Eastern European countries who thematize the current representation of this socio-cultural space in their work.
  • Student participation in the international professional event Solarigraphy Meeting 2025 in Prague in June 2025

What will be implemented in the summer semester:

  • Digital footwear design workshop at the Department of Textile Design
  • Study trips of students and teachers as part of the project "Journeys to Monuments" at the Department of Restoration
  • Travel and operating costs of a long-term documentary art project by a student of the Department of Photography and New Media

We use the funds obtained from the non-investment fund PRO ART for various artistic and theoretical projects, but in the academic year 2026/2027 we want to focus mainly on:

  • Support for exhibition and artistic activities of VŠVU students at home and abroad,
  • Support for cultural and artistic events of VŠVU students,
  • Support for the creation of extraordinary student artistic and theoretical works,
  • Support for the creation of student associations on campus.
