Medium_35: Zuzana Husárová
Today, on 8th of January 2026, Medium Gallery celebrates its 35th anniversary as a part of Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava! On this occasion we have prepared in the premises of the former artshop by the entrance to the gallery a new project called Medium_35. Medium_35 introduces throughout 2026 self-curated selection from libraries of twelve personalities of the AFAD who have a special relationship with the gallery and according to selection criteria they will choose on their own.
As a first to do so presents the fragments of her impressive and large book collection Zuzana Husárová, a poet, a pedagogue and theoretician of digital arts and a current member of the Gallery Board of Medium Gallery. Each selection will be accompanied by a short video about what you will have a chance to see at the galery and what kind of relationship do our congratulators have with our gallery. We are still just an exhibition venue, so you can look at the books, but not purchase them, but we hope that they will maybe inspire your own library, which is for sure an intimate imprint of being of an individual.
