Hanna Kučera (b. 1996) critically engages with artistic positions and has developed a transdisciplinary practice realized through Plays. She studied Fine Arts as well as Art and Cultural Studies at HfBK Dresden, where she also completed her post-graduate studies (Meisterschüler), and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, where she is currently enrolled in the Master’s program Critical Studies. Her work has been presented at the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, Neuer Kunstverein Wien, the Austrian Cultural Forum Washington, D.C., and at Stage Art Fair in Bregenz. In 2024, she presented her solo exhibition “Stuck in Mud” at WAF Gallery and was awarded the Birgit-Jürgenssen Prize and the Federal Prize for Art Students (Bundespreis für Kunststudierende) in 2023.
