The Forms of Things Unknown

The theme of this year's selection exhibition is poetry, both as direct references to literary authors and as an expression of poetic sensitivity in wearable jewelry.

Buchhandlung Kubula, Munich, Germany
Thierschstraße 39, 80538 München

Curator: Julie Bergmann

The exhibition presents the work of 16 artists, 6 of whom are making their Munich debut, and a total of 74 pieces of jewelry and wearable objects.

The central quote of the exhibition comes from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and refers to the “shapes of things unknown,” the artist’s ability to transform the invisible into the visible. It is this creative process that forms the core of the exhibition: the artists transform ideas, intuitions, and inner impulses into concrete objects, thus giving form to what was previously unknown.

The exhibition is part of the international event SCHMUCK München 2026 / Munich Jewelry Week 2026.
