AFAD:inside – art course for high school students
Starting this fall, the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (AFAD) is launching an art course for high school students, which will take place directly on the AFAD premises. Registration is open to young people aged 15 to 17.

Are you interested in getting a behind-the-scenes look at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design and experiencing how artistic creation is approached directly on academic grounds?
AFAD:inside is an art course for high school students interested in visual arts. In an informal atmosphere but under the expert guidance of AFAD’s teaching team, you’ll try out various artistic techniques and approaches to contemporary art.
Over the course of 12 sessions, we will visit selected studios across different AFAD departments, diving deep into creative work through a series of workshops. It’s a unique opportunity not only to develop your own concepts but also to discover the specifics of individual studios and meet practicing artists in person.
The course supports discussion, critical thinking, and deepens visual literacy.
