Enrollment
Information about Importance and Realization of Enrollment
Enrollment
Enrollment takes place before the start of the winter semester of the given academic year and is a necessary condition for continuing your studies. The method of enrollment differs depending on whether it concerns students enrolling in the first year at any level of study, or students enrolling in higher years.
Electronic course registration
By registering courses, the student determines which portion of the obligations prescribed by the study program they intend to complete in the next academic year, i.e., in the winter and summer semesters. The student registers courses so that the number of credits that can be earned by successfully completing them is sufficient in the given period to meet the requirement for continuing studies. The standard workload for the entire academic year is 60 credits, and 30 credits per semester. In each year of study, except the last, students are required to complete courses worth at least 40 credits and at most 90. In the final year of study, students register courses according to the conditions for completing the program.

Course registration is carried out via the Academic Information System (AIS). The procedure is shown in the videos below, created by the AIS authors in cooperation with the Faculty of Mass Media Communication of the University of St. Cyril and Method in Trnava (FMK UCM).
