Providing a generally accessible environment for students with specific needs

How to proceed

  • Arrange an introductory meeting with the coordinator for students with specific needs, by email or by phone.
  • Based on the consultation, deliver to the coordinator for students with specific needs a completed application for inclusion in the register of students with specific needs, the form of which can be found below. Different types of documents can also be a mandatory attachment (to be defined by the coordinator during the consultation) of the application, e.g. a medical report specifying the range of problems during the study that result from your medical condition.
  • The coordinator will send a copy of your application (without medical documentation) to the study office.
  • Based on the specification of the range of study problems resulting from your health condition, the coordinator will prepare a proposal with you, concerning:
    • a)   conditions of the individual study plan
    • b)   instructions for teachers
    • c)   instructions on the conditions of validity of the confirmation of inclusion in the register of students with specific needs
  • The request for inclusion in the records of students with specific needs with the proposal of the conditions of the individual study plan is approved by the vice-rector for studies after consultation with the individual involved pedagogical workplaces of AFAD and reaching a consensus of all concerned parties.
