Department of Digital Technologies
Development and operation of IT technologies at VŠVU.
The Technology Section ensures the development of modern technologies and information technologies within the VŠVU workplaces. It also provides operation of comprehensive Internet and network services for all VŠVU workplaces, as well as teaching modern 3D modeling and animation programs, teaching 2D imaging and image processing, web design and provides consultations on information technology issues. The section also solves research tasks focused on applications of modern digital and communication technologies, digital processing of materials on CNC machine tools, 3D scanning, internet and intranet applications, use of video conferencing space, processing of modern materials and use of new technological procedures in design and fine arts.
The digital technology department also includes a reprographic studio, which also offers services to the public.
