Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava pursuant to Principles of the selection procedure for filling the positions of university teachers, artistic and research workers, the positions of professors and docents and the positions of senior employees of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, announces competitions for filling the positions of Heads of Departments.

*The position is combined with the role of university teacher in the respective department.

Starting date: September 2025
Admission criteria:
- integrity,
- managerial and communication skills,
- defense of a written concept of departmental activities and development.
Required documentation for the selection procedure:
- application for the selection procedure (must include personal details – full name, address, contact – email, phone number, and the exact title of the position of interest),
- professional CV,
- written concept of the department’s activities and development, in both printed and electronic format (USB stick).
General admission conditions:
- meeting the specified admission criteria,
- complete submission of required documentation for the selection process,
- personal participation in the selection procedure.
Selection procedure:
- presentation of the department's activities and development concept (approx. 15 minutes),
- discussion with the committee and defense of the submitted concept.
