  • University teacher in the position of professor in the position of head of the studio for teaching compulsory subjects Studio with a focus on spatial visual communication in the study program Visual Communication in the bachelor's degree and in the study program Design in the master's degree in the field of study Art with inclusion in the Department of Visual Communication.

Qualification prerequisites:

• Education:

  • completion of higher education II. A degree with an artistic-pedagogical title awarded or a scientific-pedagogical title "professor" before 01.09.2020 or,
  • completion of higher education III. A degree with an artistic-pedagogical title or a scientific-pedagogical title "professor" or,
  • completion of higher education III. A degree with an artistic-pedagogical title or a scientific-pedagogical title "associate professor", without an artistic-pedagogical or scientific-pedagogical title "professor".The applicant proves that he/she meets the criteria resulting from the required level of criteria for obtaining the title of professor at the University in the relevant field of the Inaugural procedure, which is assigned to the field of study to which the position is linked, which in terms of the University means that he/she must meet the Qualification criteria for the inaugural procedure, which form the appendix no. 4, or,
  • completion of higher education II. A degree with an artistic-pedagogical title or a scientific-pedagogical title "associate professor" awarded before 09/01/2020; without an artistic-pedagogical or scientific-pedagogical "professor" title. The applicant proves that he meets the criteria resulting from the required level of criteria for obtaining the title of professor at the University in the relevant department of the Inaugural procedure, which is assigned to the field of study to which the position is linked, which in terms of the University means that he must meet the Quantification criteria for inaugurations of the selected of the field of study, which form appendix no. 4.
• obtaining the artistic-pedagogical title "professor" or obtaining the artistic-pedagogical title "associate professor" with simultaneous proof of fulfillment of the criteria resulting from the required level of criteria for obtaining the title of professor at the University in the relevant field of the inaugural procedure, which is assigned to the field of study to which the function is binding, which in terms of the University means that it must meet the Quantification criteria for the habilitation of the selected field of study, which form appendix no. 4.
• art-pedagogical experience lasting at least 6 years, of which at least 3 years from the date of awarding the title "associate professor" in the field in which the position of professor is filled or in a related field;
• integrity,
• participation in the selection process,
• successful completion of the selection procedure.

• application – a written request to participate in the selection procedure, stating consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with Act no. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on the amendment and addition of some laws as amended. • curriculum vitae,
• an officially certified copy of the document on the obtained higher education II. or III. degree,
  • In the case of internal employees, it is not necessary to attach verified documents about education.
• an officially certified copy of the decree by which the applicant was awarded the artistic-pedagogical title "associate professor" or the artistic-pedagogical title "professor",
  • In the case of internal employees, it is not necessary to attach verified documents about education.
• extract from the criminal record not older than 3 months,
• brief portfolio of artistic, or scientific activity
• an overview of artistic, professional and publishing activities, (if possible to document with a statement of CREUČ and CREPČ),
• concept of teaching in print and electronic form,
• sworn statement about other employment relationships with the resident universities, or operating in the territory of the Slovak Republic, as well as abroad, closed for the performance of the work of a university teacher and researcher with the indication of the weekly working time (for the purpose of proving the fact according to §74 paragraph 5 of the Act on Universities)
• an overview of artistic-pedagogical activities (length of teaching experience, supervision of final theses),
• an overview of grant, project and organizational activities of the applicant (research projects, conferences, workshops, etc.)
• other documents in accordance with the Rules of the selection procedure and the published notice of the selection procedure, (appendix no. 4), for applicants with a third degree of education and without the awarded artistic-pedagogical title "professor".
• all documents must be delivered in both printed and electronic form (on a USB key),

The course of the selection procedure:

• presentation of artistic or scientific and pedagogical activities,
• presentation of the proposed teaching concept,
• discussion with committee members and defense of the presented teaching concept.

Salary conditions:

• According to the applicable legal regulations of Act no. 553/2003 on remuneration of employees in the performance of work in the public interest, i.e. j. according to a special salary scale for university teachers.

Further details on the announced tender, acceptance conditions and required documentation for the tender:

1. The filling of the mentioned job and function is carried out in connection with the approved number and structure of jobs at AFAD.
2. The selection process verifies the applicant's skills and expertise, which are necessary or appropriate in view of the nature of the duties that the employee has to perform in the job position or function for which the selection process is being held.
3. The selection procedure for filling the position of professor and associate professor is also a selection procedure for filling the position of university teacher.
4. The required documentation for the tender procedure, including the tender application, must be submitted in the Slovak language. Regarding the documents proving the education achieved, the acquisition of academic, artistic and scientific titles and artistic and scientific ranks, these must be, if they are documents issued in a country other than the Slovak Republic, officially verified in the prescribed manner, officially translated into the Slovak language. For documents issued in the Czech language, an official translation into the Slovak language is not required.
