Drawing for Printmaking and Other Media
The aim of the subject of drawing for students at the Department of Printmaking and Other Media is gradual development of drawing skills and subsequent gaining experience leading to own artistic expression.
In lower years of study it is mainly the pursuit of realistic reproduction with classical drawing instruments and dealing with anatomic composition in larger formats. Focus is put on breaking of stereotypes and searching for own way to drawing.
In higher years of study, after acquiring some experiences, the drawing becomes a game. There is a space for experiment and individual approach, which results into clear handwriting of an individual.
