We teach students to create and search for meaningful relationships of various forms, images and contexts in space and to present them with the help of selected media to enhance their own individual profile building. We explore individual and societal past experience/ memory which often brings us to places in the terrain where we organize happenings and collaborative creative meetings.

Tools, SSC + uses for its terrain research and exploration, are creative workshops - workshops, which as a studio team we hold once or twice a year reflecting historical, cultural and political contexts in Central Europe (we have held them in Slovakia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Israel etc.). On the one hand, we teach students to manage the conduct of their own research, on the other hand, exposed to difficult conditions they are forced to look for relationships and contexts directly in particular places.

Field workshops make an important part of the SSC+ identity. Another important factor for the success of the study is the space for individual profile building of students. They present their own visions and artistic solutions for further discussion. The studio team completes this creative process with current contributions in order to create a critical discussion- based environment that helps achieve a good result. We define the studio as an open space for a free experiment of opinions and expressions taking into account humanity and mutual respect.

We employ strategies of contemporary art open to diverse sources from the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences, but also from the ordinary environment of life. The SSC + is an interdisciplinary environment where we conduct a dialogue in order to meet the student's vision of an intermedia artwork as a tool for the personal statement and social reflection.
