Studio of Transport Design

It is led by Doc. Ing. Štefan Klein, akad. soch., under the flag of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Throughout its more than 20 year history, the studio has produced numerous graduates which have successfully found their dream jobs in the automobile design industry. Most of the program’s students are of Slovak and Czech nationality, which in turn helps the studio establish a dominant role at breeding talented automotive designers in the Czech and Slovak region. A large portion of the students are considerably young, ages usually range from 19 to 25; however, this does not hinder their expertise as most of these young students have already interned at various automotive and aeronautical companies, where some of which even found full-time jobs. A number of the attending students have even taken up other disciplines such as graphic design, concept art and illustration in order to broaden their talent – an act that is more than encouraged as this studio focuses primarily on the artistic component of the transport design.
