Studio of Industrial Design
The object of the study is a human being and their working activities.
A range of products resulting from this relation reacts to the past as to an inspiring genetic link, perceives the present time through the actual development of design practice and looks into the future with a feeling that design shares accountability for ethics and environmental awareness. The development of professional skills of bachelors graduate is implemented through specific projects in accordance with pedagogical intent. Preparation of student for a creation in a team is secured through organized cooperation with Slovak and foreign producers and institutions.
Priority of master´s level study consists in preparation for an individual design creation and in personality shaping. The semester is divided into stages of solutions, which are regularly evaluated and consulted. In case of projects relating to the whole studio, common corrections and discussions including external experts are organized, otherwise the team is created according to the nature of the project.
