The Studio is specialized in intermedia overlaps and emphasizes creative approaches. It is specifically focused on spatial thinking, objects creating and installation. Essential feature of its focus is the openness to the media where the emphasis is put first of all on the content and subsequently on media, based on the principle that both components of the artistic statement must be in harmony. Concerning themes, the bachelor degree is oriented particularly towards teaching basic professional knowledge and skills which are important for successful dealing with artistic ideas and content of the artwork.  Increase of knowledge about contemporary art and emphasis placed on communication with the students in order to define or verbalize individual perceptions and attitudes of the students.

Practical assignments: project preparation and implementation of artworks pertaining to a given theme from their conception to presentation in relevant context.

Studio activities: series of projections and discussions with students about selected artists and artworks, reading texts, discussions with experts, visiting exhibitions.

Master´s level of Study

From the perspectives of themes, the master´s level of study is focused mainly on deepening of required professional knowledge and skills which are important for successful dealing with artistic ideas and content of the artwork.  Increase of knowledge about contemporary art and the emphasis placed on communication with students in order to define or verbalize individual perceptions and attitudes of the students.

Teaching of management, organisation of (own) artistic activity.

Practical assignments: project preparation and implementation pertaining to a theme selected by the student from the beginning of conception to presentations of artworks in a relevant context.
