Ms Silvia L. Čúzyová, MA, PhD.
Lecture: 25 April 2018, 5.00 pm
Medium Gallery, Hviezdoslavovo nám. 18, Bratislava
What is critical thinking? What is the critique of art and what are its historical forms in our country? We ask ourselves: Who wrote, what did he write about, what he did not write about, and how did he write about art and why? This contribution is an insight into the history of criticism of the fine arts, and aims to explore the conditions of its existence, to introduce selected personalities and their critical concepts, to bring a summary of information from areas of the Slovak arts history that remain unexplored so far.
